2024 New Years Greeting
GENOVA’s New Founding Year
2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake and the airplane accident at the Haneda Airport have been heartbreaking disasters and accidents that occurred early in the new year. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to those who have been affected and our heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families.
We are now able to realize that we are getting out of the COVID-19 pandemic that raged for more than three years allowing us to get back to our normal daily lives.
On the other hand, we have been directly affected by climate changes, including the frequent large-scale natural disasters caused by global warming, the hottest summer in the history of weather observation and major outbreak of fires in various parts of the world.
In the economy, many changes have occurred in areas close to our daily lives, such as significant exchange rate fluctuations and prolonged inflation.
Meanwhile, new computer technologies are constantly emerging that are changing every aspect of life and society. We can see this in the achievements of “generative AI” and “quantum computers”.
Under these circumstances, last year, our company completed its first annual results post going public. As a result, we were able to achieve results that exceeded what we had declared to our stakeholders and related institutions. These achievements are due to the strong relationships of trust we have built with the users and clients of our services. We sincerely thank you for your support.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude for the guidance and support to everyone involved. At the same time, I would like to pay tribute to our employees for their continuous hard work.
At the beginning of the year 2024, we have decided to step forward to realize the scenario for the next chapter of GENOVA, Inc.
In the Medical Platform business, we will aim to promote the development of a platform base of our medical media, Medical DOC, and aim to expand our services as a presence that is closer to our users.
In the Smart Clinic business, we will continue to develop services as clinic automation to address the shortage of medical personnel, eliminate unnecessary medical clerical work, and reduce waiting time for patients.
We will place at the core of our growth scenario the reassessment of our existential value and function for society to become a company that is chosen by our customers and all stakeholders.
At the same time, in an environment of intense innovation like AI, we will learn from the tenets of “human capital management” and recognize that the challenge of “acquisition and retaining outstanding human resources” is gaining importance.
We will continue to move forward by learning and receiving guidance from many people involved and by mobilizing the efforts of our employees.
