GENOVA’s New Founding Year

May 2025 be a wonderful and peaceful year for you, both personally and professionally.
Looking back on 2024, we saw the ongoing impact of global warming, with the persistence of the El Niño phenomenon leading to extreme weather events worldwide. Rising sea surface temperatures contributed to relentless heat waves and torrential rains. In Japan, the summer seemed to extend all the way to the season of autumn leaves, making us wonder if autumn had disappeared altogether. Furthermore, reports indicate that glaciers have melted at an unprecedented scale since measurements began by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), marking what the UN Secretary-General aptly described as an era of "global boiling."
Addressing this crisis requires the collective wisdom and determination of humanity. As both a business leader and a citizen, I recognize my responsibility to contribute, however modestly, to finding solutions to these pressing challenges.
2024 was also a year of rapid advancements in generative AI technology. Nobel laureates have declared that AI and AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) could become the most transformative technologies humanity has ever possessed. AI has begun to penetrate deeply and steadily into every aspect of science, society, daily life, and the economy. In the field of information and computer science, AI research has gained recognition as a legitimate scientific discipline, with AI researchers even being honored with Nobel Prizes in Physics and Chemistry, drawing significant global attention.
Now, as GENOVA Inc. enters 2025, we celebrate our 20th anniversary. It has been two decades since our company was founded in July 2005 in Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tokyo, as an internet web content development company.
As we mark this milestone year, we remain conscious of our role as a Prime Market-listed company and the ongoing challenges of population decline, aging society, and AI-driven transformation. Our focus will be:
Medical Platform Business: Continuing to develop Medical DOC as a central platform, striving to create, evolve, and refine services that genuinely support users.
Smart Clinic Business: Under the banner of "Clinic Automation", we will concentrate on addressing medical workforce shortages, streamlining medical office operations, and reducing patient wait times. We will also propose services that contribute to advancing DX (Digital Transformation) in clinics.
Guided by principles such as "A company is its people," "People-centered management," and "Performance disparity is talent disparity," we are committed to implementing effective human capital management policies and initiatives. Our goal is to grow into a publicly listed company with annual revenue exceeding 10 billion yen.
The year 乙巳 (Kinoto-mi) is said to be a time of "continuous renewal and flexible growth." This is precisely the kind of company we aspire to build at GENOVA.
We will continue learning from and collaborating with those around us, seeking valuable insights and guidance while encouraging the growth and determination of our employees. With this commitment, we move forward in our business endeavors.
